Operation
The propeller is attached on a large diameter pulley which is mounted to support frame on ball bearings
and is driven by v-belt.
The pulley ratio allows for low propeller rpm, ensuring high efficiency, low noise levels, and low energy
costs.
Shutter(when fitted) is opened and closed automatically by fan operation.

Construction
Fan Housing
Outer casing and inner venture plate are made from galvanized steel.
The shutter is made from galvanized steel, and all shutter blades are linked together to ensure equal
openings.
Shutter bearings do not require any maintenance.
Guards are made from galvanized welded mesh.
Threaded inserts are fitted to sides of outer casing for installation.

Propeller
Aluminium blades are fastened to central hub and pulley made from die-cast aluminium.
Statically and dynamically balanced to ensure low noise and vibration.

Motor
Foot mounted, cast iron motor.
Three phase 380v/50Hz or single phase 220v/50Hz, IP54, class F insulation.

Applications
The GLF high volume fan is used for extracting and/or circulating high volumes of air in large buildings where
