Specifications:
Our range of HEX tube terminals have been designed to meet international standards. This ensures the compliance of a majority of end users like he electrical authorities, contractors, control and switchgear panel builders, electrical wholesale outlets and traders.

• Copper specification to 99% IACS to BS 6017 198 (1989)
• Copper finished Electro Tinned to BS 1872 1984(1990

The compliance with electrical specifications are in accordance with the general requirements, initial / final resistance, tensile "pull off" test and cycling periods, if necessary.
The HEX range of terminals meet the specifications below and refer to standards and have been independent tested in accordance with the following standards:

• Compression Joints for Copper Connections as per BS 4579 part 1 1970 (1988)
• Solderless Crimped Connection for Connectors as per BS 6516 part 2 (1990)
• SABS IEC 61238-1

We also manufacture the following terminals as per DIN standards if required:

• Copper Sealing Ferrules as per DIN 46228
• Copper Tubular Terminals as per DIN 40500
• Copper Tubular Terminals as per DIN 46235
• Special designs such as "T" connections and reducing ferrules are available.
